Iain Simpson BSc (Hons) MRICS - Partner
Iain founded Iain Simpson & Company in 1999 after spending two years with the British Rail Property Board in York and five years with Dunlop Heywood in Leeds.
He is highly experienced in promoting land for development and providing associated development consultancy, advising numerous landowners, and working with developers to realise development value.
Iain has a strong understanding of legal matters and planning policy at both local and national levels, together with extensive experience negotiating with national and regional developers and housebuilders.

Lottie Exton BSc (Hons) - Senior Surveyor
Lottie recently joined Iain Simpson & Company following 6 years working in land acquisition for Bellway Homes (Yorkshire) and McCarthy Stone (Yorkshire and the East Midlands).
She has experience in identifying sites and negotiating land deals, taking development opportunities through exchange and the planning process to completion.
Lottie is also hands-on with legals, planning, commercial sales/lettings, lease advisory, and land disposals, as well as assisting Iain with many of the larger development projects.
